DIY Citrus Cleaner

1 cup distilled white vinegar*
3-4 cups water
10 drops lemon essential oil
10 drops lemongrass essential oil
10 drops grapefruit oil
spray bottle
permanent marker

Step 1 Mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle (use funnel)
Step 2 Add essential oils (you can add more or less depending on how strong you want the scent)
Step 3 Screw top on and shake before each use
Step 4 Make sure you mark your bottle with the marker (label properly so that you know what you are using, and list ingredients)

This is a great scent, because it doesn't have that lemon cleaner smell, like certain commercial products.  Your house will smell so yummy and fresh!  This is a great money-saver, and you'll love not using so many toxic chemicals.  You can also make changes to the essential oils (eg tea tree oil, peppermint oil, etc.), but always check with your doctor, and consult reference guides when using essential oils; for example, tea tree oil is not recommended during pregnancy.

*This solution is not recommended for stone/porous surfaces (eg granite or marble counter tops), because of the acidity in the vinegar.  Use the Stone Counter Cleaner recipe for that.
