Stone Counter Cleaner

Dr. Bronner's Liquid Castile Soap (I like the almond scent)
Permanent marker
Spray bottle

*Vodka or rubbing alcohol (for granite)

Step 1: Add 1tb castile soap to your spray bottle, (about one squirt), fill the bottle with water (use funnel, if needed)
Step 2: Replace bottle top and shake before each use
Step 3: Use the marker to label your bottle clearly and list the ingredients

*This is a very mild cleaner that is safe to use on your marble counter tops, and will save you money (yippee!).  If you have high-quality, very dense granite, you can add 1/4 cup vodka or rubbing alcohol for added disinfecting power.  Make sure you properly seal your counter tops each year to keep them in good shape.  I don't add essential oils to this recipe to keep it very simple, and non-abrasive to the stone: stone is very hard and durable, but porous.
